Contracting - A Round Table Discussion

Ray Barrett will lead a discussion about his experience with contracting and working with agents.  A number of agents have been invited to join, and anyone is welcome to join in to share or ask questions.  Among other topics we will discuss:

What a contracting agent company does, How they add value, How they interact: W2 vs 1099, Their recruiting and sales organizations, How to set up a relationship with contracting agent, etc.

The Role of Provisional Patents in Consulting

Luis Figarella, PE has over 20 years of experience as a practicing engineer and Patent Agent and is an author of books, articles, and courses, as well as an inventor with 14 issued US patents as a named inventor, and over 35 issued/allowed US Patents for his clients.  He will lead our discussion of Provisional Patents.

We had a lively group of 10 participants and a lot of interesting information about how to use these patents to best advantage and the pitfalls to avoid.  The Nashua Library Conference room for perfect for out use.
